Agile and robust: the lightest hybrid racing crampons on the market. High-strength steel front, lightweight aluminum rear. Highly compact with flexible front anti-balling system. Designed for high-performance ski mountaineering. Fully compatible with Gignoux boots.<\/p>\n
Weighing only 395g, these are specifically for mountaineers and ski mountaineers where performance is everything. Crampons are essential for safety during technical ascents and carrying on steep, icy slopes. At the same time, athletes don’t want to carry a single extra gram to move faster and more efficiently. The ten-point, fully automatic Mezzalama hybrid crampons are an excellent choice for efficient climbs. They meet ISMF standards and combine the best of both material worlds: a robust steel front and a lightweight aluminum rear. This makes them suitable for mixed terrain or rock while remaining very light. Practically, there is no difference between left and right crampons, so no need to think when putting them on. Adjustment to sole length (260 to 333mm) is done in a flash without tools. They attach to touring boots in seconds. The robust binding system ensures a firm, reliable grip on ice, wind-packed snow, or frozen cliffs. An anti-balling plate under the front section prevents annoying snow buildup. Mezzalama crampons come standard as fully automatic. If needed, they can be quickly converted to semi-automatic using a front bail. A practical hard case is included for protection during transport.
