The all-carbon boot, at your service.
A 100% carbon high-performance boot, with no compromise.
Developed and handmade in the French Alps.

Tensioner technology
In competition, there's no time to waste on lengthy adjustments. That's why, with the tensioner technology, a simple flick of the lever precisely tightens your boots for the descent. This innovative tensioner system links the lever to the internal lacing system (ILS) and, when switching to descent mode, automatically tightens the instep.
This new version of the Pro system features an adjustment at the back of your lever. Before the race, you can choose the difference in tension you want to apply between the climb and the descent.
You no longer need to look for a compromise between descent and climb: a suitable setting is available for each position.
Customize your Race Pro
On your Gignoux Race Pro, adapt the liners to your practice:
- Race bikini liner (low cut)
- Skate bikini liner (low cut)
For optimal performance, the Race bikini liner acts as a second skin, close to the foot. To improve hold, the equivalent (low cut) Skate bikini offers extra space to insert an insole that supports the arch of the foot.
If needed, you can also configure your boots with a slightly wider shell or a more snug liner to limit friction and the feeling of compression on your heels.

The classic Race liner, the lightest. Designed with a built-in foam sole to limit weight.

Originally developed for the Skate Pro, here is the Skate liner. Slightly softer foam on the sides and a very thin, rigid base allow the use of a custom or orthopedic insole. The arch of the foot is thus supported. This solution is relevant if you have pain in the inner ankles during your long outings.
Asymmetric cuff
Asymmetric cuffs that follow the shape of the legs, for more comfort and better hold.

Race sole
The Race sole is minimalist while complying with ISMF standards. It is directly overmolded onto the carbon shell to bind the two elements together and provide optimal hold.

ILS lacing.
Ergonomic fit.
The "ILS" lacing system, specially developed by us for carbon boots, has already proven itself in ski mountaineering. Its design offers a firm and precise foot hold. The adaptability of the lacing system to the morphology of the foot offers great comfort.

Low-Tech insert
Nothing compares to low-tech bindings when it comes to ski touring. That's why all our boots are compatible with low-tech. The front insert of Gignoux boots is fitted with a bevel that helps with stepping in. The rear insert, for its part, has been designed to accept most semi-automatic crampons.

Carbon molding
Each part is made from ultra-high-performance carbon in our workshop in the French Alps. Particular care is taken in positioning the different layers of carbon fiber in order to optimize the balance between weight, strength and stiffness.

Maximum range of motion, for ever freer movement.
Freedom of movement is a must for gaining speed. In addition to a large range of motion, the use of the bikini system for the liner limits friction (low-cut liner that stops under the tongue of the cuff).
Total range of motion: 108°.
