Anti-twist System
With its two hooks and anti-twist system, the Mountain is designed for wide skis. It adds twice the lateral stiffness, for perfect control when you set an edge.
Range of motion
Beyond its light weight, one of the Mountain’s strengths is the freedom of movement it gives your ankle, letting you drive your foot farther with no resistance.
Features
The Black sole lets you handle approaches on any terrain. It’s overmolded onto the carbon shell to prevent delamination.
Race Sole
Made in France, this removable liner is heat-moldable. It delivers comfort and warmth. The toe box is roomy for better insulation. With targeted reinforcements, it gives solid support on the descent while preserving ankle freedom on the climb.
Liners
The ILS lacing system, developed in-house for carbon boots, has already proven itself on our ski mountaineering boots. Its design delivers firm, precise foot hold. Its adaptability to your foot shape brings great comfort.
ILS
Nothing beats low-tech bindings for ski touring. That’s why all our boots are low-tech compatible. The front insert on Gignoux boots also has a bevel to help with step-in; the rear insert is designed to take most semi-automatic crampons.
Inserts
Each part is made from ultra-high-performance carbon in our workshop in France. Special care goes into laying the different fiber layers to optimize the weight/strength and stiffness ratios.

Discover the asymmetric cuff
Our cuffs are now asymmetric. Ergonomic, they fit the skier’s leg perfectly and help control the ski. Especially useful on long traverses, this new shape supports your calf without squeezing it.
