About the binding
Product Description
Weighing only 110 grams, the U 77 becomes the world's lightest low-tech binding equipped with a ski stopper. Perfect for high-level competition, it's also suitable for speed-focused practices and training. It meets all ISMF (International Ski Mountaineering Federation) requirements.
Quick Step-in
The new Quick Step-in system developed by Gignoux offers improved comfort when stepping in and saves valuable time during races.
Springless
This binding doesn't use a conventional spring, but a titanium U-shaped component that reduces the binding's weight. Its sleek design enhances overall strength.
Ski Stopper | Release
The U77 heel piece can also accommodate a ski stopper system fully integrated into the climbing aid. No additional movement is needed, ensuring maximum time efficiency. The heel piece is equipped with a release system in case of a fall: the rear part pivots upon impact to free the heel and allow the ski to detach.
